Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, with CPA (or equivalent) is a must
  • At least 7-12 years of Finance & accounting experience in manufacturing industry (experience in
  • petrochemical industry shall be preferred)
  • Experience in working and leading in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be Fluent in  English writing and speaking skills.
  • Must be very strong in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in interfacing with business customers
  • Experience in process improvement and root cause analysis
  • Experience in a senior reporting & accounting or business control role at Business Unit, with exposure to relevant enabling technology and SAP
  • Customer service mindset with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to build relationships across the organization and geographic regions

Job Description

1.Service Delivery:

  • Responsible for preparation of Company’s Financial Statement, Cash Flows and Working Capital;
  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • Overseas Month-end and year-end closing activities and responsible for preparation of MIS and ancillary reports and submission to Top Management;
  • Submission of Financial Statements and schedules in HFM consolidation tool.
  • Monthly valuation of foreign currencies and its equivalents;
  • Preparation, presentation and ensuring adherence to approved budget and reporting timelines for the unit; Manage payments & receipts, cheque processing, on-line payments, recording and follow-ups for overdues;
  • Responsible for all types of Direct & Indirect Taxes leviable on the Company;
  • Maintaining relationships with banks & financial institutions and dealings in forex transactions;
  • Proper management of Fixed Assets Register, depreciation, disposal, etc.
  • Proper monitoring in commercial department, vendor negotiations, documentations and accounting;
  • Periodic check of stocks (raw materials, finished goods, stores & spares, packing materials);
  • Act as a custodian and process owner for the financial statements;
  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team;
  • Guide the team leads on the exception handling and issue resolution that are not resolved at Team lead level;
  • Be an expert on the subject matter including the compliance requirements pertaining to one’s process area / cluster to enable the desired business outcomes;
  • Assist Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors and Internal Auditors during the audit procedures and to ensure timely and accurate responses to audit queries and information requests;
  • Create a robust system for escalation handling and ensure all policies, procedures are followed;
  • Monitor and report KPI for their unit;
  • Responsible for governance of their unit;

2. People Management:

  • Ensure balanced allocation of work among the team members;
  • Co-ordinate with senior management at site and outside the country at regional & corporate level;
  • Work with team working outside the site at share
  • 3. Operational Excellence
  • Prepare business case for the initiatives related to operational excellence;
  • Participate in the socializing and sign off of the initiatives;
  • Define the success measures;
  • Evaluate the post implementation impact and own the business desired business outcomes;

  • Ensure that agreed KPI’s are met through timely delivery.

 

Working Hour : 9:00A.M to 6:00P.M
Holiday : Saturday (Alternate) and Sunday, Public Holidays
