Job Description

  • Handle daily procurement operations.
  • Check and acknowledge Material Requests (MR) via email.
  • Identify potential suppliers with the Purchaser.
  • Suggest alternatives if requested materials are unavailable or delivery cannot be met.
  • Choose the best suppliers based on safety, compliance, quality, cost, and deadlines.
  • Evaluate quotes with the Purchaser and consult on technical, commercial, and contractual matters if needed.
  • Create a comparison table for required items.
  • Submit evaluation results to the company within the set timeline.
  • Assist with negotiations, purchase orders, and payments to suppliers.
  • Support with permits, logistics, packaging, customs, and taxes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods according to the purchase order.
  • Inform the company of delivery and follow up on goods acceptance.
  • Handle rejected deliveries and find solutions.
  • Follow up on delayed Material Requests and expedite them.
  • Communicate daily with the client.
  • Prepare delivery order (DO) files and follow up with clients.
  • Attend Service Quality Management (SQM) meetings with clients.
  • Clarify discrepancies in specifications, quantity, delivery dates, etc.
  • Estimate prices and set budget limits when needed.
  • Check and follow up on purchase orders.
  • Prepare supporting documents for invoicing.
  • Maintain the MR register and submit weekly reports.
  • Save hard and soft copies of files.
  • Request petty cash and settle with accounts.
  • Arrange the weekly budget list (every Friday).
  • Submit price proposals to clients.
  • Must be able to perform duties assigned by superiors.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with overseas sourcing experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (ERP experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of legal and commercial procurement aspects.

 

Working Hours: 8:15 am to 5:00 pm

Holidays:  Sunday & Public Holidays
