Job Descriptions
- Improve the manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.
- Analyze, investigate and solve manufacturing process issues.
- Lead continuous improvement projects such as cost reduction, quality, downtime and wastages and productivity improvement.
- Responsible for new process and new product trial runs and all keyline dimensions for artworks.
- Establish training documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI) and One Point Lesson (OPL)
- Prepare and establish necessary recording, reporting and monitoring forms, records, reports, and checklists.
- Educate and train Production Technicians and Operators in proper manufacturing procedures, new records, forms and checklists.
- Prepare necessary drawings for the factory such as drawing for machines & line layout, factory layout, water lines, compressed air lines, steam lines, and keylines, etc.
- Monthly monitoring and reporting on Boilers and Generators Operations and Performance
- Lead some engineering projects for new fabrication.
- Provide necessary support in Improvement of Workplace Safety and Health and 5S matters.
- To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Engineering graduate or equivalent and with at least 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Hands on experience in implementation of food safety management systems HACCP, ISO 22000 and GMP
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – MS-Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Independent problem solving, negotiation and decision making and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Expertise in manufacturing basics including lean manufacturing, best practices, processes, procedures and tools.
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate) & Sunday, Public Holidays
